Ask anyone to name a holiday destination for those who like to party until the early hours, and there is a good chance that Ibiza will feature right at the top of the list.
The island is famous across the world for its nightlife, with the most famous DJs around heading to Ibiza in the summer months to perform at some of the top clubs around.
However, to say that Ibiza is only suitable for those who want to party is doing the island a huge disservice, with an ever increasing number of families now looking at Ibiza for their Mediterranean break in the sun.
As is the case across the Balearics, you can expect to find stunning sandy beaches that are ideal for taking in the year-round sun, with the turquoise waters of the coast being as welcoming as any you will find elsewhere.
Away from the major resorts, you can also find plenty of rustic charm in quaint little villages, wonderful tree-lined landscapes and history in spades.
The saying goes that there are two sides to every story and that is certainly the case when it comes to Ibiza.
