Mare Nostrum Hotel 3 stars

The Mare Nostrum Hotel is situated in a side street and just 100 metres from the longest beach on the island. Playa d'en Bossa beach has many fun water sports and also has a diving school if you fancy taking your PADI course and get to see some of the breathtaking marine life that surrounds the island.

There are many places to visit in Ibiza, from extensive shopping trips to Ibiza Town, day trips to the beautiful neighbouring island of Formentera and not forgetting the Aguamar Water Park, which is just a 20 minute walk from the Mare Nostrum Hotel.

Mare Nostrum Hotel has a 24 hour reception desk offering tourist information, luggage storage, and excursion tickets sales. If you are looking to rent a car to go off and explore the island, there are car parking spaces available within the hotel grounds and there is free Wi-Fi available in all public areas.

Also on site, there is a chargeable laundry service, hair salon and there is a supermarket for all of those essentials.

The Mare Nostrum Hotel has many sports facilities so that you can keep up with your fitness regime and they include and gym, basketball courts, pool table, table tennis and the staff can also teach you some archery.

The hotel has been adapted, to ensure that people with wheelchairs can get access to all areas and they even have a Boccia court, which is a sport designed for people with severe impairments and is now one of the top sports in the Paralympics.

Guests at the Mare Nostrum Hotel have a choice of two swimming pools that are surrounded by a large sun terrace filled with sun loungers with parasols. The children are kept entertained as the children's pool is close by and there is a kid's playground and also mini golf for some great family fun.

The pool bar is open all day for guests offering a wide choice of snacks and drinks, which can be enjoyed at the large seating area in the shade.

In the evening, the large buffet style restaurant is a great way to start off the evening, with its wide choice of local and international cuisine, and occasional show cooking takes place, giving their guests a flavour of their authentic Spanish dishes.

There are many bars close by that are family friendly and offering quiz nights, bingo and karaoke and there is an abundance of chillout lounges along the beachfront.

There is a lift up to all floors that takes you to the modern and spacious hotel rooms. All rooms have a double or twin beds, flat screen TV with some international channels, air-conditioning, safe and a private bathroom with a wall mounted hairdryer. All guest rooms will have a balcony or terrace and some guests will have the privilege of the stunning views out to sea. The safes that are in the rooms are free of charge, but you may have to leave a refundable deposit.
