Arenal Hotel 3 stars

The Arenal Hotel is a lovely family friendly beachfront hotel, with just the promenade between you and the golden sandy beach of San Antonio Bay.

The complex has a 24 hour reception desk offering an array of services such as currency exchange, luggage storage and shower rooms for guests that are returning home on a night flight, tourist information and also guests can book excursion tickets for some fantastic days out within the island, such as Aguamar, which is Ibiza's top water park.

The outdoor swimming pool is set amongst the beautiful gardens with its tall palm trees, offering pockets of shaded areas for families with small children. The large swimming pool is surrounded by many sun loungers on the non-slip terrace and there is also a children's pool for the little holidaymakers to enjoy.

Next to the pool is the pool bar, offering many hot and cold meals throughout the day as well as ice cold drinks to keep you hydrated.

Children can also enjoy time out of the sun as there is a games room, TV lounge, children's playground and there is even an ice cream parlour with a vast amount of different delicious flavours.

There are many activities for guests to enjoy throughout the day including rifle shooting, table tennis, pool and there is also water polo that takes place in the swimming pool. There is a fitness centre on site, as well as a squash court, 2 tennis courts, indoor swimming pool and mini golf for the whole family to take part in.

If that is not enough, guests only have to walk a few steps to the beach, where they can try many water sports including catamarans, sailing boats, water skiing, and windsurfing at the local sailing school.

After an energetic or maybe a relaxing day in the sun, guests can look forward to the large choice of mouth-watering meals at the restaurant and guests with special dietary requirements are also catered for.

The evening continues with the variety of entertainment that is carefully organised by the entertainments team and guests can enjoy cabaret shows, magicians, flamenco dancers, karaoke and lots for the children to enjoy such as games for the whole family to join in and the mini disco.

The hotel rooms are modern with plenty of space for cots and extra beds and all have chargeable air-conditioning, ceiling fans, safety deposit box, direct dial telephone, TV, private bathroom and a balcony or terrace with street or pool/sea views.

There are lifts to all floors so that the disabled guests can also have the privilege of rooms with glorious views out to sea.

San Antonio Bay has many family friendly bars with entertainment for the whole family to enjoy and there are activities such as mini golf and arcades dotted around the resort, so you would not need to walk too far to have a great evening.
