With only a transfer distance of 97 km from Dalaman Airport makes Marmaris a popular destination for holidaymakers. The Grand Villa Sol Apartments is situated on in the beautiful resort of Marmaris on the stunning Aegean coast of Turkey.

The apartments are a popular choice amongst families and couples who are looking for comfortable, spacious and clean accommodation, in an amazing location without breaking the bank.

Marmaris is a hive of activity with its many shopping, restaurants, nightclubs and other attractions, there is something for everyone and all ages and is only a mere 2.5 km from the apartments.

There is a great public transport network, reliable and run frequently with a shuttle shop just outside the apartments.

Here you are spoilt for choice in terms of beaches, Marmaris has a great sandy beach and it is also worth travelling that little further to the next resort of Icmeler, the beach there is also stunning with golden sand and crystal blue waters.

In 2000 the apartments underwent a full refurbishment with the apartments decorated tastefully with a welcoming traditional Mediterranean feel. The complex comprises of 68 apartments which are spread over 5 floors all of which are air conditioned.

The ground floor apartments are studio apartments and can sleep up to 4 people without a separate bedroom. The one bedroom apartments can also sleep up to 4 people but have a separate living area with sofa beds. The main bedroom can either have a double bed or twin beds. There is a private en suite bathroom and a kitchenette.

The apartment comes with modern amenities needed to make your stay comfortable such as a cooker, fridge, kettle, hairdryer and a telephone. Each apartment has its own private balcony so you do not have to go far to take in the views. A late checkout time can be requested.

Guests will book an apartment on a self catering basis however there is a great restaurant on the Grand Villa Sol Apartments complex which guests can use. The restaurant serves an A la Carte menu with a choice of Turkish and international cuisine and all meals and snacks are at a good price.

Although there are some great beaches nearby you may want to take advantage of the amazing outdoor swimming pool on the complex, there is also a separate children’s pool. So you do not have to go far to relax, there are plenty of loungers and parasols in the area.

During the day there are many things going on in the complex such as pool games and other competitions and in the evenings the entertainment continues with traditional Turkish themed nights, dancing and music . There is also a disco after 10 pm.
