The likes of Phuket and Koh Samui are known around the world for their scenic beauty, with miles of impressive beaches on which you can make the most of the weather being arguably the biggest draw.
Add into the mix verdant rainforests, lazy rivers, native wildlife and top class cuisine and you’ll wonder why it’s taken so long to embrace a Thai holiday.

Bridge over River Kwai

The Grand Palace

Na Muang
Lots of people head for Koh Samui to sample the beaches but head inland and you can explore the impressive Na Muang waterfalls. The falls are accessed via a walking trail and once there, you can marvel at the sight of water cascading down across the rocks to a plunge pool where you can take a refreshing dip.
Wat Phra Kaew
Located within the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand and is home to the Emerald Buddha – a 26-inch tall Buddha carved from jade. It’s one of a number of religious sites within the city that are worth exploring.
Old Phuket
Head for the island of Phuket and you’ll discover that life isn’t all about the beach, with Old Phuket certainly worth a visit if you want to explore a number of old buildings that blend European and Chinese design together.
Elephant Nature Park
The Elephant Nature Park is located in Chiang Mai Province and was opened to help rescue and rehabilitate animals from the wild. Established in the 1990s, the park allows visitors to get up close to these majestic creatures, including when they head for the local river to bathe.
Phi Phi
If you want to embrace one of the most beautiful part of Thailand then the Phi Phi Islands will tick all the boxes. Expect to find stunning beaches at every turn, including Maya Beach where the Leonardo di Caprio’s hit movie ‘The Beach’ was filmed.
Khao Sok
