Travel to Thailand with us

Thailand is one of the most fascinating destinations in the world when it comes to a HOT Holiday in the sun, with a huge range of things to see and do during.

There are few places in the world where you can enjoy the combination of relaxation and adventure, with some of the most stunning beaches imaginable for those who want to take it easy and a huge range of activities for those who want to really embrace everything that the country has to offer.

When it comes to making the decision over when to travel to Thailand, it’s worth bearing in mind that the weather can vary greatly across the year.

Whilst you can expect the temperatures to remain pretty high throughout the year, the summer months are when there is the greatest chance of encountering a heavy rain shower.

Visit during the winter months and you’ll get plenty of sun, with the temperature still running well into the 30s, but with the possibility of rain dropping noticeably.

It isn’t just the temperature that you can expect to be warm on a visit to Thailand, with the country famed for being one of the friendliest. In fact, it’s even been given the nickname of the Land of Smiles – and with good reason.

No matter why you might be considering Thailand for your HOT Holiday, a trip to the busy capital city Bangkok is a must – even if its just for a day or two to sample the bright lights and to get a little taste of the many attractions that Thailand’s largest city has to offer.

Away from the capital, many people will head for Thailand’s various islands and coastal areas in search of their holiday adventure.

The likes of Phuket and Koh Samui are known around the world for their scenic beauty, with miles of impressive beaches on which you can make the most of the weather being arguably the biggest draw.

Add into the mix verdant rainforests, lazy rivers, native wildlife and top class cuisine and you’ll wonder why it’s taken so long to embrace a Thai holiday.

Things To Do

Bridge over River Kwai

Take a trip to Kanchanaburi in the west of Thailand and you’ll be able to see the famous Bridge over the River Kwai and visit a special museum that is dedicated to the bridge and the Burma Railway – which was built by the Japanese using prisoners of war during WWII.

The Grand Palace

The Grand Palace is located in the heart of Bangkok and has been the official residence of the Thai king since the late 1700s. Made up of various different buildings, the Palace is one of the top attractions in the country and is partially open to the public – although several areas remain in official use.

Na Muang

Lots of people head for Koh Samui to sample the beaches but head inland and you can explore the impressive Na Muang waterfalls. The falls are accessed via a walking trail and once there, you can marvel at the sight of water cascading down across the rocks to a plunge pool where you can take a refreshing dip.

Wat Phra Kaew

Located within the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand and is home to the Emerald Buddha – a 26-inch tall Buddha carved from jade. It’s one of a number of religious sites within the city that are worth exploring.

Old Phuket

Head for the island of Phuket and you’ll discover that life isn’t all about the beach, with Old Phuket certainly worth a visit if you want to explore a number of old buildings that blend European and Chinese design together.

Elephant Nature Park

The Elephant Nature Park is located in Chiang Mai Province and was opened to help rescue and rehabilitate animals from the wild. Established in the 1990s, the park allows visitors to get up close to these majestic creatures, including when they head for the local river to bathe.

Phi Phi

If you want to embrace one of the most beautiful part of Thailand then the Phi Phi Islands will tick all the boxes. Expect to find stunning beaches at every turn, including Maya Beach where the Leonardo di Caprio’s hit movie ‘The Beach’ was filmed.

Khao Sok

There are plenty of verdant green areas within Thailand where you can see another side to the country and the Khao Sok National Park is one of the best. Home to the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world, it’s also a region where you can explore towering mountains, deep lakes, huge caves and also get close to nature.
