Vila Gale Cerro Alagoa Hotel is situated in the middle of Albufeira, between the Old Town and the New Town. It is located just a 6 minute walk from Fisherman’s Beach. The famous ‘Strip’ is 1.2 km away where you will find restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs that open until the early hours.

Albufeira is one of the most popular resorts of the Algarve, located on Portugal’s southern coast. The New Town is the lively part of the resort, bustling with shops, bars and restaurants, while the Old Town is a lot quieter with its central square, narrow, cobbled streets winding up into the hillside and quaint little houses dotted around the marina. Albufeira was destroyed by an earthquake in 1755 and all that remains are some of the old castle walls and a clock tower that dates to Roman times. The tower is lit up on festive occasions.
