R2 Rio Calma Hotel 4 stars

R2 Rio Calma Hotel is a luxury 4 star complex located right by the sea on the beautiful island of Costa Calma. From the resort you can take in the stunning views of Grandes Playas de Jandia which is where you will find some of the best beaches in the Canaries. The golden sandy beaches are stunning and have loungers to relax on and sun shades to hide you from the sun when it gets too hot. There are plenty of water sports to keep you active.

Situated right on the edge of the resort, the shops, bars and restaurants are just 20 minutes walk away. There is a supermarket approximately 10 minutes walk away and sells everything you will need for your holiday. The shops are perfect to get your gifts to take home whilst the bars and restaurants are excellent for people watching and an enjoyable meal.

The complex has an outdoor heated swimming pool which is surrounded by a relaxing sun terrace. On the sun terrace you will find a large amount of comfortable sun loungers to laze on and soak up the warm Canarian sun. Parasols are there to give you a bit of shade, especially the little ones in the midday sun. The swimming pool features bridges and waterfalls giving it an amazing atmosphere.

For those wishing to relax there is a Spa & Wellness centre which has an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish Bath, Vichy shower, hydrotherapy baths, massages, beauty salon and a hairdressers.

Sports facilities include an onsite gym is full of the latest modern equipment keeping you up with your fitness programme, volleyball, aerobics, squash court, tennis court, paddle court and a multisport court. The animation team provide a fantastic programme of games and activities throughout the day for guests to enjoy.

The 24 hour reception is located in a large air conditioned lobby area with comfortable seating. The staff at the reception desk are happy to help with currency exchange, internet access, laundry service, car rental, bicycle rental, medical assistance and parking facilities. They will also help you with tourist information and excursion tickets. The gift shop is ideal for souvenirs to take home and there is complimentary Wi-Fi at certain spots on the complex. The TV room is great to catch up on sporting events and the games room is there for a bit of friendly competition.
