The Niza Apartments is a 1-star complex that is in a great location close to the resort centre and the fabulous bay of Puerto Rico.

The local bus runs through the resort and can take you to the neighbouring resort of Amadores, or you could go as far as the island's capital Las Palmas, where you can enjoy a la carte dining and fabulous streets full of shops, as well as the new built shopping centre next to the port of Las Palmas.

At the bay of Puerto Rico, you can enjoy a number of water sports such as water skiing, parascending, jet bikes and there is also a surf school to try out surfing for the first time.

Gran Canaria has fantastic golf courses for those who are keen golfers, and there is also a golf school to teach you new skills and also offers equipment rental by the day.

Close to the seafront and through the resort there are many things to keep the children entertained such as shops selling inflatables for the pool and down on the beach and there are many activities for them to enjoy such as soft play, ball pits, trampolines, arcade games, crazy golf and not forgetting the famous Angry Bird Activity Park.

For those of you who love to shop there are many shopping centres close by selling everything from designer wear to pretty boutique shops selling the latest Canarian street fashion.

The reception desk at the Niza Apartments are open for limited times throughout the day and evening and can offer a number of facilities including currency exchange, tourist information, luggage storage and they can also assist in excursions and car rental.

The bean shaped swimming pool has a large surrounding sun terrace, allowing guests to relax and unwind under the glorious Canarian sun and there are many parasols for guests needing time in the shade.

Part of the pool is shallow, which is perfect for the children to have fun and make new friends.

In the evening guests can look forward to heading down to the resort centre for delightful restaurants and entertainment bars and there are an endless amount of bars open until the early hours, for those who enjoy the livelier nights and like to dance the night away.

These self-catering complex offers clean, spacious and traditionally styled apartments with a lounge, open plan kitchen, separate bedroom with a double or twin beds, bathroom with a bathtub or shower and a furnished balcony or terrace with pool or street views.

There are a number of supermarkets that can be found in the resort which are also popular with the local, so guests can purchase a variety of lovely ingredients to self-cater back at the apartment, should they wish to.
