There are 2 swimming pools on the complex, one is heated and one is not heated, but both have sun loungers and parasols laid out on the sun terrace surrounding them, perfect for relaxing on after a dip in the pool.

If you enjoy sports and being a bit more active there is a tennis court, beach volleyball, water volleyball, squash court, fitness centre, table tennis, football and petanque.

The animation team will have you up and playing before you can say 'sun cream'. Throughout the day and evening the animation team provide a variety of activities, games and shows for you to take part in if you wish, or just sit back and watch.

For the children there are 2 kids clubs, one for 4-6 year olds and one for 6-12 year olds as well as a playground and babysitting facilities.

Guest services within the grounds of the hotel include a 24 hour reception desk, multilingual staff, medical assistance, parking, car hire, safety deposit box rental, laundry service, internet access, Wi-Fi access, shops, concierge desk and tourist information.

Meals are served in the 3 restaurants which includes Dar Al Andalus, a buffet style restaurants with local and International dishes, overlooking the swimming pool. El Samaka Restaurant serves fresh seafood dishes and can be used once per stay. The Oriental Restaurant is an A la Carte restaurant serving a variety of Egyptian and Middle Eastern dishes.

Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, tea and coffee are served in the Beach Cocktail Bar, Oriental Corner, Ultra Bar and the Pool Bar with some offering hot and cold snacks during the day.

Mercure Hurghada Hotel comprises of 312 rooms all fully air conditioned and views of the sea or pool. They all have a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, desk, internet access and a safety deposit box. Cots are available on request.
