GHT Balmes Apartments is a family run complex in Calella and has been renovated with new family rooms and a new children’s pool with water games. Located in a quiet area of Calella just a few metres from the shopping centre, the beach and the train station that connects with Barcelona.

The hotel has a buffet style restaurant with show cooking, and an entertainment programme for adults and children. Also, free activities are organized on the beach including foam baths, inflatables, kayaks, sports and excursions can be booked. The beach is a great place to spend the day soaking up the sun whilst cooling off in the sea. The resort centre has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Located just 50 km north of Barcelona, Calella is the tourist capital of the Costa Maresme on Spain’s north eastern coast. It is an upbeat and lively town set between the better known resorts of Costa Dorada and Costa Brava. The resort offers holidaymakers a host of attractions and facilities. The old town is worth a visit, to find out about the history of the area, and wander around the cobbled streets and see the ancient buildings. Here, you will find some more traditional tapas bars. Girona Airport is 38 km from the hotel and Barcelona Airport is 71 km.
