Barcelo Corralejo Sands Hotel 3 stars

Barcelo Corralejo Sands Hotel is located just 500m from the main beach in Corralejo and the many bars, restaurants, and shopping opportunities are all on your doorstep. The spectacular nature reserve, which is more commonly known as the sand dunes, is just a couple of kilometres from the hotel, which is probably largest suntrap you will ever find and is very popular with the locals for kite surfing competitions because of its miles of golden Sahara Desert.

Barcelo Corralejo Sands Hotel has been recently renovated and adapted to allow all holidaymakers in wheelchairs to gain access to every amenity and facility within the hotel grounds.

The hotel has a 24 hour front desk and the multilingual staff are always available to offer assistance and services including currency exchange, dry cleaning, fax and photocopying service, luggage storage and a tour desk offering excursion ticket sales and tourist information. There is an array of sporting facilities such as tennis courts, table tennis, racquetball and diving in the swimming pool. For the children there is a playground area and the kids club has a variety of activities planned daily to keep them entertained.

The glorious large swimming pool is of a unique shape and has a section that is safe for the children to have a splash around. Around the pool is a large sun terrace that flows onto the beautiful gardens and under the Mediterranean trees, which gives families with small children their own little pocket of shade.

There is a pool bar surrounded by a patio full of tables and chairs, where guests can enjoy a large selection of hot and cold food, refreshing drinks and a variety of ice creams for the children.

The evenings are always something to look forward as guests would start off in the air-conditioned buffet restaurant, with a huge choice of local and international dishes to try and the children also have a large selection that would suit them, especially the desserts.
