Vilamoura

Vilamoura sits in the heart of the Algarve and has developed from a small harbour town to become of the top tourist resorts on the Portuguese coast.

Those looking for additional levels of fun can visit the nearby Zoomarine Park, whilst anyone wanting to explore history and culture will love exploring Vilamoura’s roman ruins, the 13th century castle in nearby Loule or the Bishop’s Palace in Faro.

There are golf courses aplenty if you want to get a quick round in during your time in the sun, as well as a wide range of dining options that provide the chance to sample both local and international cuisine aplenty.

When the sun goes down, expect to find plenty to keep you entertained, with the area around the marina being particularly popular thanks to the bars and restaurants found around the waterfront.
