Travel to Belek with us

Belek is one of the most stylish resorts on the Turkish Riviera and the perfect option for a family who want to make the most of the Mediterranean sun.

Expect to encounter the finer things in life during a trip to the resort, which is home to a number of higher end accommodation options where you will want for nothing.

But fear not as Belek isn’t all about 5* luxury, with a range of more cost effective options for families and couples who may be travelling on more of a budget.

As with other resorts in the Antalya region, Belek benefits from warm weather conditions throughout the year. From Easter onwards, things start to hot up leading to average temperatures in the 30s during the middle of summer.

Even when it starts to cool off again in the autumn, you’ll still encounter temperatures in the mid-teens at least, albeit with the possibility of rain.

For those who want to relax, there are plenty of opportunities during a stay in Belek, with the resort being home to an expansive stretch of beach running for more than 10km.

The mixture of sand and shingle backs is perfect for topping up the suntan, with the shallow waters being welcoming for all ages – particularly children who can make the most of the opportunity to cool down out of the sun.

You can also try your hand at a range of different watersports, ranging from jetskiing to wakeboarding. It’s not just on the water where you can partake in some sports either – with a number of championship quality golf courses within easy reach of the resort.

Whilst modern day Belek is packed with top quality hotels, designer boutiques and exclusive restaurants, there is plenty for those who have more of an interest in history and culture.

The ancient remains of Perge can be found within half an hour, whilst the stunning Aspendos amphiteatre is also just a short trip away.

Things To Do

Hit the golf course

If you’re a lover of golf then the area around Belek could be the ideal option for a break in the sun. Those who are fans of links-style courses will enjoy the challenge of Lykia Golf Course, whilst the Montgomerie Max and PGA Sultan are more appealing for the casual golfer. Cornelia Golf Club meanwhile features 27 holes designed by golfing legend Nick Faldo whilst Carya provides the unique opportunity to play under floodlights.

Belek Mosque

A fantastic example of a traditional Turkish mosque, Belek Mosque sits in the heart of the resort and is the place where locals go to pray. It will be particularly impressive to see when lit up at night.

Haggle for a bargain

There is something very rewarding about trying to grab a bargain whilst away on holiday and the main bazaar in Belek is a great place to try and find souvenirs to take back home. Held on a Saturday you’ll find a range of different goods and will be able to drive down the price if your haggling skills are up to scratch.

Land of Legends

If you are travelling with the family then the Land of Legends park will hold huge appeal. The themepark is home to a range of different water-based rides to suit all ages and also houses a selection of animals that range from tigers to whales and dolphins. There’s also plenty of opportunity to enjoy some shopping or fine dining during your visit.
