Albir Lighthouse

If you want to take a break from the beach during your time in Albir, then a walk to the lighthouse is a popular thing to do with tourists who want to take in some of the best views in the resort. There are various routes to the top of the hill where the lighthouse sits but the vistas that await when you get there are more than worth the trek.

Algar Waterfalls

The Algar Waterfalls aren’t too far away from Albir and provide the chance to marvel at the scenic beauty to be found inland on the Costa Brava. Having walked through the surrounding nature reserve to reach the falls, you can then take a refreshing dip in one of the many pools that sit at the bottom of the falls.

Aqualandia

The Aqualandia Waterpark sits in nearby Benidorm and is a popular attraction throughout the tourist season. One of Europe’s tallest waterslides caters for those who love to be thrilled but there are also waves pools and Jacuzzis in which to relax and a splash park for the youngsters.

Paseo de las Estellasis

You might think you’ve been transported to Hollywood if you pay a visit to the Paseo de las Estellasis, where stars bearing the names of the rich and famous have been embedded into the pavement on which you stroll. Expect to find plenty of bars and restaurants nearby in which to relax with a drink or some top class food.

Mongto Natural Park

Explore the flora and fauna to be found within the stunning surroundings of the Montgo Natural Park, which can be accessed with ease from Albir. There are also various caves and rock formations to explore as well as the chance to take in breath-taking views of the surrounding region.

Parque Natural de la Serra Gelada

Expect to find plenty of wildlife and stunning vistas if you pay a visit to the Parque Natural de la Serra Gelada, where a range of guided trails are in place to allow you to explore the scenic surroundings.

Playa del Albir

The best beach on which to relax during a break in the resort, Playa del Albir features nearly 600 meteres of stunning white sand, with crystal clear blue waters that are simply inviting you to head in for a dip. With Blue Flag status, lifeguards on patrol and a range of facilities nearby, the family appeal is clear to see.

Benidorm

If the evenings in Albir prove to be too quiet, then you could head for nearby Benidorm in search of some more action. There’s plenty of bars and restaurants and a huge array of entertainment options – which range from nightclubs where you can dance until dawn, popular cabaret shows and the famous Benidorm Circus.
