San Antonio is one of the go-to destinations on Ibiza for those who want to visit the island because of the world famous nightlife that is on offer.

Once a small fishing village, San Antonio was transformed during the 1980s to become one of the top destinations for clubbers who had a desire to dance until the early hours.

Those clubbers continue to visit every summer to dance to the best tunes from the top DJs, with a huge selection of nightclubs that are known across the world.

That’s not to say San Antonio is all about the late nights however, with plenty of restaurants and more relaxed bars that are ideal if you want to take a bit of a break from the main action – or simply have a desire to grab a quiet drink whilst taking in views of the beach.

The main beach area in San Antonio is a man-made affair that is lined by bars, with the calm seas being ideal for a quick dip.

Other beaches in the area can be accessed with ease for those who want to head further afield.

Although perhaps not high on the ‘to do’ list for those planning to party in San Antonio, the capital city Ibiza Town is less than half an hour away and is packed with medieval treats.

There are further opportunities to party, with the area around the marina being popular for those who want to grab a cocktail and admire some of the island’s best views.
