Son Matias Beach Hotel 4 stars

The Son Matias Beach Hotel is an adults only complex overlooking the stunning bay of Palma Nova on the island of Majorca.

The hotel offers direct access to the sandy beach where you can relax on a sun lounger for the day or take a refreshing dip in the blue waters of the Mediterranean.

Aimed at the more mature traveller, the hotel comprises of 135 rooms and suites spread over nine floors, with three rooms adapted for disabled use.

All rooms and suites are equipped with a bathroom with a bath/shower, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge, safety deposit box (chargeable), tea/coffee making facilities and air conditioning.

The main facilities of the hotel are located on the ground floor and include a swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers and parasols laid out for guests to relax on as well as a heated Jacuzzi. Pool towels are available for the duration of your holiday.

Throughout the day and into the evening there is an entertainment programme provided for guests to take part in if they wish or just watch everyone else. During the evening you can enjoy the professional acts, dances, games and much more.

The 24 hour reception desk will assist you with currency exchange, car hire and bicycle hire. There are two lifts, chair lift and wider doors to make the hotel accessible for those in a wheelchair. Relax in the TV room or get online at the internet area.

Meals are served in the main restaurant which offers a self service buffet with an excellent selection of local and International dishes. For breakfast there is fresh fruit, cereal, Continental and British dishes. Theme and Gala nights are held on set days during the week, the reception desk has the menu for these nights.

During the day locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, hot and cold snacks as well as light bites are served at the pool bar. The Lounge Bar is where the evening entertainment is held, the perfect place for a relaxing drink whilst watching the entertainment.
