Lutania Beach Hotel 4 stars

The Lutania Beach Hotel is located on the east coast of Rhodes in the village of Kolymbia, about 25km south of Rhodes Town. Surrounded by lush greenery and flowers, the hotel is ideally situated between Rhodes Town and Lindos on the island’s most popular tourist trail. The village of Afandou is just a few kilometres away, with it’s pretty churches and historical buildings.

Kolymbia is a small, quiet village with a main road lined with eucalyptus trees leading to the beach. A few kilometres away is Afandou, one of the oldest villages on Rhodes. Here, you can visit a variety of ancient buildings and ruins including a church with 17th century artefacts.

Rhodes is a wonderful island to explore and it is worth taking a couple of excursions. Apart from Rhodes Town, which is steeped in history, one of the trips that is well worth taking, is a visit to the Valley of the Butterflies, located in the western part of the island. Here you will see thousands of butterflies in a wooded area with streams and waterfalls.
