Grupotel Gran Vista Spa & Hotel 4 stars

The Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa Hotel is a luxury 4* hotel right in the heart of the resort of Can Picafort on the island of Majorca.

The hotel offers a relaxing family friendly environment with the beach on the doorstep, with extensive green areas, swimming pools and excellent customer service making it one of the top hotels within the resort.

Accommodation comprises of 338 rooms and 102 apartments spread over a garden area. All the rooms are equipped with a satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (chargeable), safety deposit box (chargeable), hairdryer, bath/shower, air conditioning and a balcony or terrace.

The apartments and suites also have a double bedroom, lounge area, kitchen and a sofa bed.

Guests at the hotel can enjoy the two large outdoor swimming pools, sun loungers, parasols, pool towels, solarium and an outdoor Jacuzzi. There is a spa which has an extensive range of treatments and facilities including massages, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, heated swimming pool, hydro massage, relaxation room, ice cave, toning pool and a fully equipped gymnasium. People under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Spa.

For those travelling with family, the children are well catered for. They have their own separate swimming pool and water park, a play area to let off steam, Mini Club, Mini Disco in the evenings, full day and evening entertainment programme and a babysitting service.

Sports facilities include tennis courts with racket hire, beach volleyball, bowling green, mini golf course, cycling centre and a full sports entertainment programme. Throughout the day and evening there is an entertainment team that provides a variety of activities for all to enjoy, from games and quizzes to dances and shows.

The 24 hour reception area has local and national newspapers, car hire, bicycle hire, currency exchange, medical assistance, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi access, internet corner, luggage storage and a courtesy room for those on a late departure. Outdoor parking is available and there are charging points for electric vehicles. Throughout the whole hotel, access has been adapted for wheelchair users.

Meals are served in the main buffet restaurant which offers an extensive range of local national and international dishes, including cooking stations where chefs work in front of your eyes. In the main restaurant there is a children's buffet on offer to the younger ones.

The Bistro Oasis Restaurant (open during the summer months only) is the romantic restaurant of the complex. It is situated on the terrace by the swimming pool and is ideal for a romantic meal for two. The Oasis Bistro is open for hot and cold snacks, beverages and has an A la Carte service, situated between the swimming pools.

The Panoramic Bar is located on the sixth floor of the hotel and has panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, whilst the main bar welcomes families and couples who want to enjoy a relaxing evening watching the entertainment team.
