Anthoula Hotel 2 stars

Set in the hillside, Anthoula Hotel is a family run hotel with fantastic views over Kamari Bay in the resort of Kefalos on the south western coast of Kos. The hotel is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday in the warm Grecian sun.

The resort centre is 300 metres away, and the beach is 1 km from the hotel. When guests reach the resort centre they will be amazed by the shops selling all the little gifts you need to take home. There are many restaurants serving both local and international dishes for all to enjoy. The bars welcome families with younger children to sit with an ice cold beverage during the day. The beach has plenty of sun loungers to go round everyone and is great for the little ones to cool off in the sea and build sandcastles on the beach.

Anthoula Hotel has a shuttle bus to the beach and the resort centre 5 times a day. It offers guests an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers and parasols, a separate children’s section in the main pool, a playground and a snack bar serving drinks, light snacks and breakfast. There is a reception area with tourist information and a TV lounge showing the news and latest sports.

This is where, according to legend, Hippocrates, the father of medicine, taught his pupils the art of medicine.
