San Agustin

San Agustin is the ideal option for anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful break on the island of Gran Canaria, but is also close enough to some of the more action-packed attractions for those with a desire to stay active whilst away from home.

As with the remainder of the island, San Agustin benefits from an impressive Mediterranean climate that means you can enjoy hot summers and mile winters that combine to make the resort a year-round holiday destination.

Located on the southern coast, San Agustin is little more than 25km away from the airport and is close to both Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles.

Within the resort, you’ll be able to get away from the crowds and enjoy the opportunity to simply chill out and take life easy, with sheltered beaches on which you can relax in the sun or take a refreshing dip in the calm waters.

Snorkelling and diving are both available around the resort, whilst a beachfront promenade is home to cafes and bars where you can grab refreshments.

Given the relaxed nature of the resort, there isn’t tons to do within San Agustin itself, although there are a number of coastal walks in the surrounding area that provide the chance to explore some of the natural beauty of the island.

Head further afield however and you can explore the boutique stores of Maspalomas, the action-packed Sioux City park and the lively entertainment within Playa del Ingles.
