Oranjestad

Oranjestad is the capital city of Aruba, which is wildly regarded as one of the friendliest islands that you can visit on a trip to the Caribbean.

With Aruba being a constituent country of the Netherlands, the influence of the Dutch can be seen across Oranjestad thanks to a large number of colonial buildings that have been lovingly restored in vibrant colours, offering those who visit the chance to see the colonial history of the city and the wider island.

Scenic national parks, towering rock formations and hidden caves can be explored on foot, by road or on horseback whilst there are also numerous beaches around the coast that are worth checking out.

Palm Beach and Eagle Beach are amongst the most popular and are located close to Oranjestad whilst Baby Beach is great for families thanks to the sheltered waters that line the white sands.
