Motiongate Dubai

Motiongate is one of four theme parks that are part of Dubai Parks & Resorts, which can be found within easy reach of Jebel Ali. Designed to bring a touch of Hollywood to the Emirate, the park is home to various movie-themed attractions whilst younger visitors will enjoy the chance to meet up with characters from the likes of Shrek and Kung Fu panda.

Legoland Dubai

Another park within Dubai Park & Resorts, Legoland Dubai is a great option for families who are staying in Jebel Ali with smaller children, with the park being home to more than 40 different rides and attractions that are ideal for under tens. Legoland’s waterpark is also great for younger children who aren’t ready for the high-speed attractions that are located elsewhere in Dubai.

Ride the Desert

Exploring the desert around Dubai is a great attraction when visiting the Emirate, and MX Academy provides the option to head out on a motorbike to tackle the dunes. If you’re looking for something a little more sedate, you could always go with a ride on camelback instead for a more authentic experience.

Ibn Battuta Mall

Dubai is well known for offering top quality shopping, and the Ibn Battuta Mall is well worth a visit. Alongside more than 200 different stores, you’ll find a selection of restaurants and leisure facilities that include a bowling alley and cinema.

Jebel Ali Racecourse

Horse racing is hugely popular across the Emirates, and Jebel Ali Racecourse is one of the top courses in Dubai - hosting various events across the year. The Jebel Ali Mile, held each January, is one of the biggest meetings and falls during peak travel season.

Jebel Ali Golf Resort is a nine hole course that is found within the JA Jebel Ali Resort and which has been visited by some of the biggest names in the sport - including Greg Norman and Tiger Woods. With stunning sea views, the course is suitable for both beginners and experts alike, with the former able to benefit from tuition from PGA-approved experts to hone their skills.
