Travel to Copenhagen with us

The capital of Denmark, Copenhagen is a fantastic option for a quick city break overseas, with oodles of charm adding to the friendly vibe that you can expect to find the moment you step off your plane.

The lively city is particularly popular with culture lovers but also features an air of elegance that is well suited to couples seeking to enjoy a touch of romance away from traditional options such as Venice or Rome.

When it comes to paying a visit to Copenhagen, the time of year is something that you might want to take into account; given that the city has four distinct seasons during the year.

Travel in the middle of summer and you can expect to be greeted by temperatures that run into the early 20s, whilst spring and autumn tend to be quite mild – albeit with plenty of sunshine in the sky.

In winter, the temperatures will drop noticeably but that helps to create the magical winter wonderland that brings many visitors in for the festive period.

Take a stroll through the cobbled streets of the city and you’ll be able to marvel at a fascinating blend of old and new architecture, visit impressive museums and galleries, take a cruise along the canal or enjoy a fun filled day at the famous amusement park that sits right in the heart of the city.

A trip to Copenhagen isn’t all about the city however, and you don’t have to go far to be able to explore the countryside – you could even elect to include a trip to a different country if you so desire…

It you’re a lover of food then there are plenty of opportunities to sample traditional Nordic cuisine at the various cafes and restaurants across the city – and you can’t really visit Copenhagen without sitting down to a coffee with a Danish pastry.

Copenhagen also has a vibrant evening scene so expect to find plenty of options when it comes to letting your hair down on an evening in one of the many different bars and clubs.

Often referred to as one of the happiest cities in the world, you won’t need to spend long in Copenhagen to see why.
