Travel to Boston with us

Boston is a popular option for a city break in the United States but the capital of Massachusetts offers a different experience to that you are likely to enjoy elsewhere.

In fact, there is something of a taste of Europe about visiting the city, most notably in the architecture that reflects Boston’s colonial history dating right back to the time that it was founded by settlers who arrived from European soil in the 1600s.

One of Americas’s first great cities, Boston blends the historic with the modern - with a raft of trendy boutiques and impressive cafes located alongside cobbled streets and traditional brownstone buildings.

You might also enjoy a trip to somewhere like the Quincy Market in search of a bargain - as plenty of others have done since the early 1800s.

Culture vultures will particularly enjoy a trip to Boston because of the fact there is an almost endless array of museums and galleries to be explored covering all manner of topics from history to the arts whilst a walk along the famous Freedom Trail links together a number of sites of special interest.

The harbour area is also well worth a visit - if only to sample some of the local seafood.

Whilst spring and summer are the best times to visit, Boston is very much a year round destination, with a winter trip in the snow being particularly rewarding if you don’t mind the lower temperatures.
