We’re off to mainland Spain today to continue our run down of the best hotels with waterpark access for those who want to add a little extra fun to their annual summer break in the sun.
The Hotel Gran Garbi is our destination of choice, with the 3* complex being located in the resort of Lloret De Mar on the Costa Brava.
The hotel is well suited to families and provides the option of staying on a Half Board, Full Board or All Inclusive basis.
Rooms can sleep up to four people, with dining being available at the buffet restaurant – where show cooking is provided at both breakfast and dinner. A snack bar is also available for quick bites to eat during the day.
Guests can relax on sunbeds alongside the two outdoor pools, one of which includes a section for children. There’s also an indoor heated pool, which again features a children’s section.
Youngsters also have access to a kid’s club that offers a range of different activities for those aged from six through to 14.
A major plus for those electing to book a stay at the Hotel Gran Garbi is that the waterpark isn’t part of the hotel, but is instead to be found next door at the sister Hotel Gran Garbi Mar.
Here, there are numerous slides to be enjoyed as well as a splash park for the younger visitors.
It means that you can head for the waterpark when you want some fun before relaxing back in the more tranquil surroundings of your own hotel afterwards.
