There are many shopping opportunities through the streets and at the Biosfera Shopping Plaza and a short bus trip can take you to the neighbouring resort of Playa de los Pocillos, which is a delightful resort offering many shops, bars and also many restaurants that lay alongside the pretty promenade that lines the large beach.

The complex has a reception desk that is available to offer their guests a variety of services including luggage storage and tourist information and the staff can offer a wealth of knowledge about the island, to be able to assist in car rental, bicycle hire and the purchase of the excursion tickets for some memorable days out on the island.

There are many places to visit on the island by taking the local bus, with a bus stop that is just around the corner from the complex.

The outdoor area consists of a well-maintained sun terrace that surrounds a medium sized swimming pool and has lots of sun loungers for guests to relax and unwind and enjoy the feel of the glorious Canarian sun, warm against their skin.

There is a supermarket next door that sells a variety of fresh and frozen food, to enable guests to prepare lovely meals at their apartment, and you would not need to go too far to find the bigger supermarkets, for those looking for a wider selection, to maybe try one of the traditional Canarian dishes that you tried at one of the many exquisite restaurants in the resort centre.

It does not matter what age you are, your taste in music or who you are travelling with, Puerto del Carmen caters for everyone with everything from quaint little tapas bars, themed restaurants, family entertainment bars and the many bars and clubs that are open until the early hours.

There are also many activity parks scattered around the resort with trampolines, crazy golf and maybe you fancy create a family convoy of Segways that can be hired by the hour.

The apartments have been refurbished, giving a modern feel and splashes of bright colours throughout. There is a lounge with a seating area, including a sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar or dining table, a bedroom with a double or twin beds and a wardrobe and bedside tables, a fresh and modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and a furnished balcony or terrace with lovely views of the pool, or across the resort.

The Vista Mar Apartments is a lovely little complex that is close to all of the attractions and its value for money encourages guests to return for future holidays in Lanzarote.
