Kardamena sits on the south coast of Kos and is one of the more lively resorts that can be found on the island.

Like many Mediterranean resorts, Kardamena was once a small fishing village that has developed through the years to become a top class destination for visitors from overseas.

Although the resort is suitable for families as much as couples or groups of friends, Kardamena is a resort where you will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy some of the best nightlife on Kos.

There are plenty of bars and discos in which you can dance until the early hours whilst there are is shortage of options when it comes to dining – with a selection of restaurants that serve cuisine from around the world.

During the day, there is ample opportunity to relax on a stunning stretch of beach that runs for 3km along the coast, with nearby Banana Beach leading onto open sand dunes that are worth exploring.

As well as lying back on the golden sand, you could also take part in a range of water-based activities or join some of the locals in fishing off the main jetty in the harbour.

From the harbour you could board also board a boat to take a trip out to one of the nearby islands, with Nisyros being one that is particularly popular with those who want to visit a large volcanic crater that sits right at its heart.

Add into the mix a popular waterpark and the opportunity to head inland on horseback to explore the countryside and you’re sure to enjoy your HOT Holiday to this lively and bustling resort.
