Parque Del Sol Apartments 3 stars

The Parque Del Sol Apartments is set back just a few minutes from the delightful golden sandy beach of Playa Fanabe. The streets that lead down to the beach are full of bars, restaurants and many pretty boutique shops and the large promenade, which is split onto two levels that have many bars and restaurants that offer children's menus and family friendly entertainment.

This pretty complex looks fresh and modern with chill out areas and decked patios.

There is a reception desk that can offer an array of services including currency exchange, luggage storage, rental of the in-room safes and a tour desk to assist in car rental, bicycle hire and the sale of the fabulous excursion around the island of Tenerife.

The outside area is very picturesque, with the pretty apartments and their whitewashed walls that cradle the sun terrace and outdoor swimming pool.

Here you can truly relax in the sun and feel the warm sea breeze and there are many drinks and snacks to be enjoyed throughout the day, as well as a hearty lunch from the poolside bar, with a lovely terrace with tables and chairs that sit right next to the crystal clear and very inviting swimming pool.

Those who like to keep up with their fitness routine whilst they are on holiday can enjoy the onsite gym with a large selection of fitness equipment and also staff to assist.

Whilst the adults are either working out or relaxing in the glorious sun, the children can have fun in the games rooms, with a soft play area for the little holidaymakers and pool, table tennis and air hockey for the older children. There is also mini golf for the whole family to take part in.

If that is not enough, then why not try some of the relaxing treatments at the spa and wellness centre, or maybe have a new hairdo at the onsite hairdresser.

There is a supermarket close by so that guests can prepare lovely meals at the apartment, or there is a takeaway service until 5 pm at the poolside bar.

In the evening, guests can look forward to the delicious meals at the onsite restaurant and then make their way to the neon-lit infinity lounge for the nightly entertainment that takes place on the outside decked patio. Surrounding the decked patio are pretty boutique shops which are open until late, so guests can have a wander around the shops, whilst listening to the music and maybe treating themselves to some of the latest Canarian street fashion, or buy some of the beautiful gifts for friends and family back home.

The apartments have bright white walls with a splash of colour throughout. Each apartment offers comfort and traditional style and each apartment offers a lounge with a sofa bed and dining table, a well-equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower or bathtub and a separate bedroom with a large fitted wardrobe. each apartment has a pretty balcony or terrace with views of the pool or out to sea and some have views of the pretty streets where you can sit with a glass of wine and just relax, whilst watching the world go by.
