If you fancy a day away from the beach and the hotel why not take a trip to Acua Water Park just up the road. It will certainly keep the little kids as well as the big ones entertained.

The complex spreads over an area of 100,000 square metres and comprises of a wide choice of sports and leisure facilities to suit the whole family. The pool area has a 50 metre Olympic fresh water swimming pool, 25 metres semi-Olympic saltwater swimming pool and an adults salt water swimming pool.

Surrounding the swimming pools are comfortable sun loungers to relax on. If you get a little too hot take a dip in the pool, put up a parasol or head to the poolside bar where you can cool off with a nice cold drink.

Children are not left out here at Oasis Papagayo Sport & Family Hotel. They have their own separate saltwater swimming pool to play in and a Mini Club. The complex has a Sports Club just for kids which has a variety of sports for them to try out. They can enjoy football competitions, dance classes, aerobics, aqua gym, diving school, surf school and swimming lessons.

Of an evening the little ones can take part in the mini-disco or watch the evening entertainment which is child friendly.

For the adults there is a gymnasium which has all the latest modern equipment, triathlon camps. training area, yoga, spinning, zumba, tennis court, beach volleyball, football pitch, bowling, sauna and massages.

Papagayo Bar is where all the sporting action happens. In this bar there are pool tables, dart boards and big screens showing all the latest sports.

Oasis Papagayo Sport & Family Hotel has a total of 303 villas and apartments. Each villa has been decorated to a high standard with leather furnishings and excellent amenities which include a telephone, DVD player, TV, safety deposit box, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven , hob, fridge and a washing machine.

The bathroom has a bath, shower and a hairdryer. There is an en-suite bathroom and a further bathroom joining the 2 twin bedrooms together. Each villa has their own pool in a private garden area with a sun terrace and barbecue.
