Mardan Palace Hotel 5 stars

Marden Palace Hotel is a luxurious 5 star complex in the resort of Lara. The hotel is known to be one of the most luxurious hotels in the resort due to its high ceilings and beautiful terraces. The design of the hotel was based on the very famous Dolmabahce Palace in Instanbul. Set right on the beautiful beach where you can relax on the sun loungers and parasols provided or try one of the many water sports on offer.

The centre of Lara s within easy reach of the complex. This is where you will find those little shops where you can purchase your gifts to take home, a good choice of restaurants to dine and a number of family friendly bars to have a relaxing drink in. If you travel slightly further afield you will reach Antalya which is a bigger resort with more bars, restaurants and nightly entertainment.

The main focal point at Marden Palace Hotel is the large outdoor swimming pool which is surrounded by a water street with Sultans Golden Horn Gondola gliding round. Deep down in the swimming pool is a 350,000 gallon fish tank where you can see all the different fish. There is a Swim Reef which is 1.6 million litres of water and 900 square metres in size. It is a man made aquatic lagoon where you can go and feed, swim and snorkel with a variety of marine life including tropical fish and Eagle Rays. You will also find a fully enclosed shark tank.

There are beautiful waterfalls over 7 different levels with fountains and statues. On an evening the fountains light up and put on a show of lasers and music. There are 4 large aquariums, each stocked with different fish from the Red Sea, Caribbean Sea, Mediterranean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.

Children are very well catered for here at Marden Palace Hotel. There are numerous areas for the children to play and explore including playgrounds and adventure areas. Children will also find a kids gymnasium, separate children's swimming pool and a kids club open throughout the day. If you would like an evening out there are onsite babysitters available. For the older children there is a Teenagers Club as well as a Spa area for them. The cinema is always a big hit in the evenings.

For total relaxation head to the Spa where you can enjoy a massage, Turkish Bath, steam room, sauna, Thalasso therapy or have a swim in the indoor swimming pool. The men can have a relaxing time at the Man Space area designed just for men. Teenagers has their own spa here and there are treatments, chill out area, back massage and a range of facials. Located in the spa is the fully equipped gymnasium with personal trainers, group exercises, yoga and Pilates.

Dine in one of the 9 restaurants serving a variety of international cuisine. The main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in the style of a buffet with show cooking stations. The Aquamarine is in the middle of the large swimming pool, La Cucina is in the Maiden Tower and serves a Mediterranean style dinner and a casual lunch, you can also get snacks here. Oishii serves authentic Japanese dishes, Baan Thai has flavours from Thailand and Bosphorous is an open kitchen in the heart of the hotel. Rabat serves dishes from Russia, La Brasserie serves European cuisine, Besiktas is at the port serving typical Turkish dishes and the Beach restaurant is perfect for a light lunch or snack.

Drinks are served at the Lobby Lounge where you can enjoy soft drinks, tea, coffee and hot chocolate in front of the 7 storey waterfall. The Onyx Bar serves a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages overlooking the shoreline. The Tent Bar serves drinks in a romantic atmosphere. The Theatro Bar is located in the basement of the amphitheatre and is where the shows are performed. The Jazz Bar is on the lower ground floor of the hotel and is perfect for an evening of sophisticated entertainment with an extensive cocktail menu. The Scorpion Lounge is suspended 4 metres out over the Mediterranean Sea and offers evening cocktails and relaxing afternoon drinks. Sharks Cafe is located at the Swim Reef offering iced coffees, traditional teas and refreshing juices. The Pool Bar is by the main pool and serves snacks and drinks throughout the day.
