La Palma & Teneguia Princess Hotel 4 stars

The La Palma & Teneguia Princess Hotel is located on the cliff edge in the beautiful south-west coast of La Palma.

The hotel is a resort in itself with many facilities for the whole family to enjoy throughout the day and evening.

The beautiful cultural city and also the island's capital Santa Cruz de la Palma is located on the other side of the island, where guests can experience the true Canarian culture as they take scenic the journey to the city centre and where they can enjoy the many shops located down the cobbled stress, or enjoy the refreshments down at the harbourfront.

The hotel has a large reception lobby with a traditional Spanish but modern feel throughout. There is a 24-hour reception desk and the multilingual staff are available to assist in a number of services including currency exchange, luggage storage and courtesy shower rooms, tourist information, taxi bookings, car rental, bicycle hire, pool towels hire and a laundry service.

This magnificent hotel offers 11 swimming pools which are surrounded by sun terraces, which are set within stunning gardens with brightly coloured exotic flowers and proudly standing palm trees that give their guests pockets of shade for time out of the sun, which is perfect for families with small children.

The luxury sun loungers that are spaciously scattered around the grounds are perfect for relaxing in the sun or enjoying a cocktail or two from the poolside bar, that is available throughout the day and into the evening, serving an endless amount of drinks and snacks, with many that would appeal to the children.

There are a number of fun activities that take place in and around the pool such as aqua aerobic and water polo and to add to the activities, there is a multi-sports court for a friendly game of football or basketball, 6 tennis courts and a beach volleyball court.

The children are sure to have many fun days as they have a pool of their own, a playground and the hotel run kids club carefully organised a variety of daily activities for many fun days for children aged 4-12 and for the older children there is a games room, mini golf, table tennis, table football and there is also free Wi-Fi available in all communal areas of the hotel grounds.

There is also a Tennis academy for all of the guests to take tennis lesson and there is also a weekly tournament for the guests to compete in.

After a fabulous fun-filled day around the pool, guests can look forward to the many delicious meals that can enjoy at a choice of 5 restaurants, which some may require a formal dress code.

The evening continues on to either the piano bar for a quiet drink and getting acquainted with the other guests, or to sit back and enjoy the nightly entertainment in the disco bar, which always starts off with the mini disco that is run by the kids club.

The hotel also offers a babysitting service, which must be requested in advance and is charged for locally.

The guest rooms are modern, spacious and are all furnished to a high standard. The rooms come with air-conditioning, a double or twin beds, pool towels, flat screen satellite TV with national and international and also music channels, seating area with a sofa bed, telephone, a modern bathroom with a bath or shower and a furnished balcony or terrace.

Guests can hire an in-room safe for the duration of their holiday which will incur a rental fee and a small refundable deposit may also be required.
