Mahon, the capital city of the island is less than half an hours’ drive. Menorca International Airport is roughly the same distance. Local shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants can be found nearby.

Compared to Mallorca and Ibiza, Menorca is relatively quiet and is preferred for a peaceful and relaxed holiday. It boasts more sandy beaches than the other two islands put together. A hire car is the best way to see the island, although there are plenty of excursions and boat trips that can be arranged to get the best of Menorca.
