Aguamar Apartments 3 stars

The Aguamar Apartments are part of the Sofia Hotel Group, which prides itself on great facilities and services to ensure all types of holidaymakers have an enjoyable stay.

The complex is set in a quiet location, set back from the main beach and resort of Los Cristianos, but would take just a 15 minute walk to get to the many bars and restaurants along the promenade and the exceptional shopping opportunities.

The 24 hour reception is always available to offer assistance in currency exchange, tourist information, luggage storage and excursion ticket sales and there is also a chargeable laundry service that is available at the complex, so you could even take a suitcase full of clean clothes back home.

If you want to check that everything is ok back at home, there is Wi-Fi available in all public area and also in the apartments, which can be booked at reception and will incur a daily charge. There are also computers in the lobby area for guests needing a wired internet connection and there is a photocopying and faxing service available for that is payable locally.

There are activities for everyone to take part in throughout the day and evening such as table tennis, billiards, chess and not forgetting the 9-hole mini golf and there is a playground for the children to meet up with their new found friends.

The horseshoe shaped building overlooks the freshwater swimming pool, which is heated through the winter season. The fun atmosphere and water activities are perfect way to get to know the other guests, especially at the poolside bar that provides drinks and snacks for the children and a cheeky cocktail or two for the adults, throughout the day and until the sun goes down.

There are plenty of areas to relax and unwind, with the many sun loungers that are scattered around, including facing onto the children's section of the pool. Guests wanting time in the shade can use the parasols or sit in amongst the beautiful Mediterranean trees and there is also a rooftop terrace that is for adults only.

In the evening, the air-conditioned restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and many local and international dishes presented in a buffet style for you to try, including dishes that are very popular with the children.

Next to the restaurant is the lounge bar that flows into the lobby area and outside, that is open until late offering a large selection of branded and not branded alcoholic drinks and even special cocktails for the children.

Guests wanting to check out the surrounding area will not be disappointed as the list of bars and restaurants is endless and guests could walk along the promenade that could take them as far as the beautiful resort of Playa Fanabe and the exclusive Del Duque beach.

The apartments are modern and spacious and have a living area with a sofa bed to sleep an additional two people, TV with international channels, kitchen with hob, kettle, fridge, microwave and toaster, private bathroom with a bath or shower and a balcony or terrace, with pool or resort views.
