Dassia is located on the eastern coast of Corfu and is perfect for those who want to embrace the more laid back side of the Mediterranean island.

Like many of Corfu’s resorts, Dassia sits on a stunning beach that is Blue Flag rated, with a combination of shingle and pebble that leads into calm and shallow waters.

Those welcoming waters are perfect for youngsters who want to have a paddle, whilst off the main jetty you can sample various watersports – or board a boat to head off and explore some of the surrounding coastline.

Whilst some of the other resorts on Corfu are known for their busy nightlife, Dassia is a much more laid back destination when the sun goes down.

There are plenty of bars and restaurants to cater for those who visit, but don’t expect to dance until the early hours in a busy night club.

Instead, you can expect to find lively taverns where you spend the evening listening to live music, karaoke and quizzes amongst the entertainment on offer.

As well as historical Corfu Town, which is just a short trip away, Dassia is also close to the coastal villages of Gouvia and Kontokali if you have a desire to experience traditional island life, with the area around the resort being well worth exploring if you want to head off on a hike.
