Travel to Caleta De Fuste with us

Caleta de Fuste is a purpose built resort on Fuerteventura’s eastern coast and is well suited to both couples and families alike.

Located just 15 minutes away from the airport, Caleta is home to a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants that are located around a central strip, meaning everything is close at hand for those who chose Caleta for their break in the sun.

During the day, a man-made beach that is sheltered from the sea is the ideal place in which to relax during the day before making the most of the evening entertainment options that are available.

Just outside the resort, a large shopping centre provides somewhere to enjoy some retail therapy, whilst Caleta is also home to the first 18 hole golf course on the island; ideal for those who want to fit in a quick round whilst away from home.

Caleta benefits from impressive transport links that include a bus that heads north towards Corralejo; offering easy access to the wide expanse of sand dunes that make up the Parque Natural de Corralejo.

Things To Do

Fuerteventura Golf Club

If you’re one of those people who likes to try and get a round of golf in whilst away on holiday, then Caleta might be the ideal resort – given it is home to the biggest course on the island. Home to the Spanish Open in 2004, the course sits in a prime location on the edge of the resort and can provide a real challenge if the coastal winds rise.

Main Strip

The main strip that runs through the heart of Caleta is home to various top quality bars and restaurants that will leave you wanting for little during your time in the resort. Whether you are looking to sample traditional Spanish tapas, want to tuck into a well-cooked steak, have a craving for fresh seafood or fancy all you can eat Chinese, there are options to suit all tastes.

Chipmunk Mountain

Chipmunk Mountain isn’t really a mountain, but its one of the places on the island where you’ll be able to get up close to the chipmunks that are to be seen across Fuerteventura. It isn’t far to walk, or you can jump on a small road train if you prefer to rest your legs.

Caleta Market

Held every Saturday, Calete’s market is the place to go if you are in search of souvenirs to take back home. You’ll need to make sure you arrive early if you want to pick up the best deals on a range of handcrafted goods and don’t be scared to try and bring down the price – you never know what discount you might be able to secure…
